Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited (“the Bank”) is incorporated in the Kingdom of Thailand. The Phnom Penh
Branch (“the Branch”) is a branch of the Bank that operates in the
Kingdom of Cambodia under banking licence No. Co - 056/96B which expired
on 26 April 2007. In March 2004 the Branch opened a sub-branch in Siem Reap province. The Branch obtained an indefinite banking licence from the National Bank
of Cambodia (“NBC”) on 25 May 2007. The Branch increased its registered
and paid up share capital from US$13,000,000 to US$20,350,000 through
the conversion of 7,350,000 shares at US$1 each from the retained
earnings. The increase in share capital was approved by the national
Bank of Cambodia on 24 June 2011. The Branch's current share capital is
wholly held by Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited, which has investment grade rating
extended by a reputable rating agency. The principal activity of the
Branch is the provision of comprehensive banking and related services in
Cambodia.
