Sacombank Phnom Penh, with the present of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock
Bank, Saigon Thuong Tin Cambodia Plc (Sacombank) Phnom Penh Branch was
established on 19 June 2009, under license No. 27 from the National Bank of Cambodia with the registered office at No. 60 Preah Norodom Blvd, Sangkat Chey Chumneas, Khan Daun Penh.
On 23 June 2009, the Saigon Thuong Tin Joint Stock Commercial
Bank (Sacombank) officially opened a branch in Phnom Penh on June 23,
becoming the 27th the foreign bank to operate in Cambodia and the first
Vietnamese bank in Cambodia. The bank has provided convenient services
and smart financial solutions for customers in Cambodia as well as
contributing in promoting healthy, dynamic development in the
financial-monetary market in Cambodia .Through the first branch,
Sacombank has offered 23 financial-banking services for individuals and
businesses in the Cambodia. It has also targeted Vietnamese businesses
in Cambodia, overseas Vietnamese, and Vietnamese people working for
local and international organizations in the kingdom as well.
On 06 September 2011, Saigon Thuong Tin Cambodia Plc is has officially converted to 100% foreign owned bank under NBC license No. 27 to be called as “Sacombank (Cambodia) Plc.”
