Association of Cambodian Local Economic Development Agencies (ACLEDA Bank PLC.) was established in January 1993 for small and micro-enterprise development.
It obtained a license to operate as a specialized bank in October 2000
with the paid up capital of US$4 Million, and it has become full-fledged
commercial bank three
years later, in December 2003 with the paid up capital of US$13
Million. Currently, the bank has total assets of US$1.7 billion and
registered paid-up capital of US$113 million and has 7,600 employees are
working at 235 branches and offices throughout Cambodia and 23 branches
and offices in Lao PDR. It has three subsidiaries of which are ACLEDA
Bank Lao Ltd., ACLEDA Securities Plc., and ACLEDA Training Center.
